John Elway leaves the game after playing one series of downs, completing 1 of 3 passes for 12-yards. He had hurt his ribs earlier and when he stumbled away from the center and was pounced upon and slapped with a forearm by the Chargers Junior Seau, it was the end of his day. It isn't known at this time how soon John will be able to return and hit the 50,000 yard mark. #7 Click Here!

With John Elway out for the game, Bubby Brister steps in behind center and directs the Bronco offensive machine to a 27-0 rout going into the third quarter. Bubby has played superbly in every game that he has played this season and carries one of the highest QB rating. Too bad they don't count because he isn't a more permanent starter! Terrell Davis scoots around a couple of Charger defenders while trying to get the running game going. They held him in check for most of the game. He only managed to get 69-yards on 20 carries for the day but it sure opened up the passing game! #30 Click Here!

Glenn Cadrez gets a hand full of Leaf as he attempts to get off a pass but it's to late, the big guy takes him down and bags him like another dead leaf. #59 Click Here!

Terrell Davis just manages to slide into the endzone for another TOUCHDOWN (his 15th) after a nice run of 27-yards. They just could not keep him out of the endzone completely, he has too much talent and desire for that to happen! Go Terrell, eat'em up big guy! #30 Click Here!

Rod Smith and Terrell Davis butt helmets after his 15th touchdown of the season, later in the game Terrell managed to get his 16th on a short swing pass from Bubby Brister that put a wrap on San Diego's chances. #30 #80 Click Here!

Big ED McCaffrey gets hauled to the ground after another long gainer and gets the ball to the 2-yard line which set up a touchdown. McCaffrey had 9 catches for 133 yards, another outstanding game for big ED! Keep it up you Pro Bowler you! #87 Click Here!

Darrien Gordon intercepts a pass from Leaf (ending his game) and returns it deep into Charger territory early in the 3rd quarter. His interception sets up yet another score by the Broncos, closing the door on the Chargers for good! #21 Click Here!

Ed McCaffrey hauls in a great pass from Brister in the back of the endzone for a TOUCHDOWN after Gordon's interception of Leaf. This was what prompted June Jones to haul the used-up Leaf to the bench for the rest of the game... #87 Click Here!
